Rainbow History Project has a newly created role Events Chair role. (This is not a board position.)
The events chair’s primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Plan and implement various events approved by the RHP board. Events can be in-person, virtual or hybrid. The events chair is not responsible for curating event topics, but sharing input for topics and formats is encouraged.
- Serve as principal liaison between the board and venues and vendors re: all facets of the logistical operations and support of multiple programs and events.
- Serve as a consultant to the board on matters pertaining to planning and management of events.
- Read additional responsibilities for this non-board volunteer opportunity.
